The Pultec Low-end Trick with Slate SD-PE1 - & some extra sauce!

The Pultec Low-end Trick with Slate SD-PE1 - & some extra sauce!

Slate Digital have recently released a new plugin, the SD-PE1, which is based on the mighty Pultec EQP-1a. They’re not the only plugin developer to have done it - the UAD and Waves ones have been around for years - but this one seems to have been rather eagerly anticipated.

I must say, it’s very good indeed!

The Pultec Low-end Trick has been around for years also - you might’ve seen the video I did on it a few years back - but I thought I’d take that same process with this new plugin but add something a little extra to take it to a new level.

Run this in parallel with your kicks, snares, bass guitars and even heavy guitars (used sparingly!) and it’ll give you an extra low-end bump which is full of punch.

If you’ve not tried it before, now is your chance.

Enjoy!

Stay creative.

James
