How to AUTOMATE an AUX in Logic

Here’s a quick one for you as lots of people have asked me about it!

There are many reasons why you’d like to automate an AUX track in Logic, in this video, I’m going to show you how to do it.

All you need to do, is firstly locate the AUX you want to automate by going to the Mixer (hit X on the keyboard).

  • Select the AUX

  • Navigate to the top left of the screen and go to Options -> Create Tracks with Selected Channel Strips

Your selected AUX track will now appear in the Tracks window and you can now hit 'A' on the keyboard and automate anything within that track, just like you would with Audio tracks.

That's it!

Check it out in action in the above video.
