ABOUT ME
I'm James - a music producer, musician and mixing engineer, based in London.
I hold a first class honours degree in Music Technology and have nearly 10 years experience in recording studios - 5+ of those being in a busy one in central London. Prior to that, as an artist, I have performed in most of the venues in London.
I can use a variety of DAW's (Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase) and software instruments/plugins, outboard gear and some large format mixing consoles.
Since a young age, I’ve been a multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, vocals, drums) and have studied music theory.
Over the past year alone, I've mixed around 80 songs and I'm always wanting more!
I do this because I love it. Bring me a song and I'll love that too.
THE STUDIO
I use a few different studios depending on the requirements of the project but, currently, I'm mainly using a fantastic studio in Wallington called, The Brook. It's well equipped with some great gear, has a large live room (great for drums!) and a vocal/amp booth. It's really comfortable has so far been achieving some great results.

I have a great deal of experience in songwriting, arrangement and production, all in different genres and with a variety of different artists.
I pride myself on trying to create a comfortable environment so we can feel free to express whatever comes out.
Whether it's your 1st or 50th studio visit, it doesn't matter, the main thing is to get great results.
Also, not all musicians studied music (Kurt Cobain certainly didn't) so don't worry about that - I do the theory so you don't have to.

Never underestimate the power of a mix; it can make or break a song...
Your song needs to stand up against professionally recorded, commercial tracks.
